Overview
Each Project specialises in it’s distinctive field, they range from solar cars to space technology and social enterprises to humanitarian initiatives in developing economies. Student-led projects equip students with the diverse skillset and personal attributes which ensure graduates are set-up for success in industry.
How it can help your business
Industry partners are encouraged to get involved and sponsor a student led project. Sponsorship offers access to and engagement with UNSW top students, networking opportunities with other industry partners, UNSW academic and research staff as well as media and branding opportunities.
Case Study
One of UNSW’s student led projects has achieved international success. The student led solar racing team, Sunswift, is Australia’s top solar car team. The team designs and builds solar-powered cars to race in the biennial Bridgestone World Solar Challenge – a 3,000km race from Darwin to Adelaide, competing against universities from all around the world.
